I first started painting small face painting designs not that long ago. Yep, that's right; I never practiced face painting before. However, I do practice decorative painting and have been doing that on and off for years. I don't even remember what made me think of trying face painting designs on my kids except that I was just walking through Michael's craft store with my five-year-old daughter at the time and saw a small face painting for kids face painting kit and thought it might be fun to try. When we got home, I opened up the face painting kit, and realized that there weren’t many designs to choose from. I went to the internet and found some small designs here and there that I thought I could copy. In addition, I looked at some YouTube videos. After I did all this, I tried my first face painting butterfly design on my daughter, and I was hooked! It was so much fun, and she loved it! She loved it so much, that she ran across the street to tell her little friend to come over so that she could have her face painted too.
