Let me explain why I choose this title of Candles Las Vegas. Candles have been used for light and to illuminate man’s homes, paths and celebrations for over 4,500 years. Candles have made a long journey through history since their beginning. No longer man’s primary source of light, they continue to grow in popularity with a multitude of uses. Today, candles symbolize celebration, mark romance, soothe the senses, define ceremony, and accent home decors â casting a warm glow. But there is another side to candles too. Here is a quick and true personal story. Back in the mid nineties I worked for a disaster restoration company. We would go into a home or business after a disaster, water damage, flood, major damage due to any catastrophe and fire. We would clean up the mess and save what items we could. Depending on what kind of damage it was determined how the clean up process went. Why do I talk about disaster restoration? Because the largest and most difficult clean up was after a fire. Fire destroys, so what fire destroys you replace. But the smoke damage it causes is usually much more damaging then the fire its self. This brings me back to the subject of this websiteâ¦candles? One of the worst fires I was called to was in a college dorm in the Midwest. This dorm was three stories high and had many rooms. The fire started on the third floor in one of the dorm rooms.
