What are some of your makeup/beauty essentials?
I gotta have concealer, lip balm and eye lash curlers : ) What are some of your makeup essentials and is there anything apart from the basics that you use regularly?
I use a luminizing primer and it’s my lifesaver . . . it brightens up my skin, makes me look like I have an "inner glow" (people have even commented on it) and makes me look awake even when I haven’t slept.
The one I use is Shiseido’s Sheer Enhancer Base in opalescent white. I apply it across the tops of my cheekbones under my foundation and it works wonders every time (plus the bottle lasts forever).

Isn’t really make up but I Always use a tinted lotion on my face. Nevea has a great bronze lotion that is also firming. I get lots of compliments on my complexion. This product gradually darkens and isn’t brassy or orange. Just make sure to smooth under your neck to avoid a noticeable line. Also…can’t go without my black liner above my lashes and eye lash curler before mascara! Good luck…

I have been trying to do away with my fire-engine red lipstick by experimenting on various lip colours.
When I feel crazily bored and wanted to amp my day, I swipe on my ever-reliable berry-red matte tint. When I feel I have had enough attention and wanted to merge with the wallflowers, I use a nearly-nude colour and my boss always tells me I look "fresh". However, when I feel girly and would like my guy-of-the-hour to do a second-take on me I just pat my puckers with a VERY gentle and single application of bright red then dribble a little bit of colorless gloss (some guys appreciate the dewy pout).
I hardly wear makeup nowadays because it ages the skin and clogs my pores. I just prime my newly-cleansed skin with some collagen-based cream, dot a thin film of sunblock and when the potions have dried up completely, I sprinkle just a teeny-weeny bit of talcum powder on shiny patches to even out the look.
These ablutions take me only five minutes tops! This ritual has greatly improved my complexion; there has also been a greater amount of space in my bag for other more important things and a greater amount of extra time for other matters.
